The pumping action is purely mechanical: rotating shoes or rollers compress the hose and push the fluid forward, so the liquid only ever touches the hose. There is no mechanical seal, no gland packing and no valve to clog, which keeps maintenance down to a simple hose change. FlowLand supplies the complete pump as well as replacement hoses and spare parts for peristaltic pumps of all major brands.
