The NCC code identifies a hub-mounted 2AM that runs in one direction only, counter-clockwise viewed from the shaft end. Single-rotation motors need only one supply port; the exhaust is fitted with a muffler and the motor is controlled with a simple valve or regulator. Dropping the reversing capability also gives the lightest motor in the 2AM range at 1.9 kg.

Performance matches the rest of the 2AM frame: 0.71 kW at 3,000 rpm, 3.16 Nm maximum torque and 30 cfm consumption at 7 bar. The motor is CE and ATEX II 2 GD c T4 marked. A 2AM-NCC-16LL version is available for lube-free running (0.41 kW at 2,000 rpm, 5.6 bar).
