In cage and pond farming, dissolved oxygen level directly determines fish health and growth rate. PSA oxygen generators remove the dependence on cylinders or liquid oxygen and keep oxygen at safe levels even at high stocking densities, while blowers make pond aeration economical.

How do I estimate the oxygen generator size for a fish farm?

Oxygen demand is calculated from total fish biomass, feeding rate and water temperature, then corrected for the transfer efficiency of your diffusers or cones. Peak demand after feeding is usually decisive. With biomass, feed per day and system type we can work out the required flow in Nm³/h.

Can a side channel blower be used for saltwater aeration?

Yes, provided the air intake is filtered and the blower is installed away from spray. Side channel blowers deliver oil-free air at low pressure, which suits shallow tanks and airlifts. For deep ponds or long diffuser lines, check that the required pressure stays within the blower’s range.
