Engineering Solutions

In automotive manufacturing, nitrogen is used for tyre vulcanisation and inflation, laser welding and air-conditioning circuit testing. We offer pumps that precisely dose viscous products on paint, sealant and adhesive lines, and durable solutions for coolant and waste oil transfer in machining.

Car plants and their suppliers combine high cycle rates with strict quality checks, so supply media must be consistent at every station. On-site nitrogen serves tyre vulcanisation and inflation, laser welding and leak testing of air-conditioning and brake circuits. Sine pumps dose viscous sealants, adhesives and paints gently and without pulsation, and air-operated diaphragm pumps transfer coolant, emulsions and waste oil in machining areas. Paint equipment, lubrication equipment and pump spare parts from FlowLand’s range support the same lines. For a proposal, send the station, product and viscosity, required flow and accuracy, nitrogen pressure and purity, and cycle times.

Frequently asked questions

Why use a sine pump for dosing adhesives and sealants?

A sine pump moves viscous products with very low shear and almost no pulsation, which keeps bead size consistent and protects shear-sensitive adhesives. It handles high viscosities and some fillers well. Product viscosity, filler content and the required flow per cycle determine the pump size.

What nitrogen purity is needed for A/C circuit leak testing?

Pressure-decay tests with nitrogen usually need around 99–99.5% purity at pressures often between 20 and 40 bar, which requires a booster after the generator. Tracer-gas tests with nitrogen-hydrogen mixtures use higher purity. Your test specification and cycles per hour determine the system size.
