In chemical plants, leak-free and safe transfer of aggressive, flammable and toxic fluids is a basic requirement. We supply thermoplastic acid pumps, air-operated diaphragm and dosing pumps; nitrogen blanketing that reduces explosion risk in reactors and tanks; and process equipment such as tanks, pressure vessels and heat exchangers.

Chemical plants handle liquids that are corrosive, flammable or toxic, often in the same building, so pump selection starts with material compatibility and leak prevention. Thermoplastic acid pumps with magnetic drive avoid shaft seals on acids and alkalis, air-operated diaphragm pumps suit hazardous areas and solvents, and dosing pumps add reagents in exact ratios. Nitrogen from an on-site generator blankets reactors and tanks to keep the atmosphere below the flammable limit. Tanks and pressure vessels complete the scope. For a proposal, send each medium with concentration, temperature, flow and pressure, the ATEX zone, and tank volumes.

Frequently asked questions

How do I choose between a magnetic-drive pump and a diaphragm pump for acids?

Magnetic-drive centrifugal pumps suit continuous transfer of clean liquids at steady flow. Air-operated diaphragm pumps tolerate solids, dry running and variable suction, and need no electricity in ATEX zones. Duty cycle, solids content and flow range usually decide which type fits.

What nitrogen purity is used for reactor and tank blanketing?

For inerting, the target is usually an oxygen level safely below the limiting oxygen concentration of the solvent, which often allows nitrogen purity of 97–99%. Oxygen-sensitive products may require 99.9% or more. The safety study for your process defines the required value.
